In reality, Blasis wrote only two chapters - Music; Dancing - for The Young Ladys Book. Both were translated into French by the bookstore owner Paulin in Le Livre des Jeunes demoiselles (Paris, 1831-1832) and in Italian by G. Crespi and Cavanesi.
