In an effort to institutionalize the teaching of acting, the author asks the king to establish the position of "director of Spanish theaters" for which he explicitly candidates himself. But the demand was rejected by the Corregidor Juan de Morales Guzmán y Tovar in the text of October 28, 1793, Informe del Corregidor sobre el Plan de Moratín, published in the same essay by Pablo Cabañas (pp. 88-95).
