Diffusissimo trattato sull'actio, opera di Le Faucheur con la collaborazione di Valentin Conrart che ne avrebbe curato la versione finale, essendo Le Faucheur morto nel 1637, diversi anni prima della pubblicazione. Il trattato è stato in seguito ampiamente utilizzato nelle opere dedicate alla recitazione teatrale, come The Life of Mr. Thomas Betterton di Gildon (vedi).
